Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the bryantsmithfishing.com website and booking a guide trip.

Guide Trip Bookings

By submitting a guide trip request, you are initiating an inquiry. Dates are not confirmed until you receive direct communication from Bryant Smith Fishing and a deposit is placed. The deposit is non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled by the captain due to unsafe weather conditions or unforeseen mechanical issues. This Site does not collect deposits or payments online today — any deposit or payment is arranged and collected off of this website (for example, by phone or email).

Client Responsibilities

Clients are required to hold a valid California sport fishing license for the date of the trip. Any fines incurred by the client due to lack of proper licensing are the sole responsibility of the client. Clients are expected to follow the captain's safety instructions at all times while on the vessel.

Liability & Waiver

Fishing and boating involve inherent risks, and our Disclaimer page describes those risks and the release of liability that applies when you book and participate in a guide trip. When you submit a guide trip booking request, you are required to check a box confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Disclaimer, and that you understand and voluntarily assume the risks described there, before your request can be submitted.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bryant Smith Fishing and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
